The Kingston and District Poultry and Pet Stock Association hosted
the Odessa Fair Poultry Show on August 26th and 27th, 2023. We had 27 exhibitors who benched 240
entries, which were almost evenly split between poultry and
pigeons. The quality of the exhibits was good overall with strong
classed in large fowl leghorns; bantam games, leghorns, sebrights,
and cochins; white and grey call ducks; and rollers, homers,
tumblers, and mini indian fantail in pigeons.
The KDPPSA would like to thank our judges, John Joynt on poultry and rabbits and Roger Boomhower on
pigeons, who did a great job. We thank Willows Agriservices and Tricounty
Agromart for donating
the feed and shavings used in the show, and Dave Snider who contributed special
awards. The KDPPSA gratefully acknowledges Cameron MacDougall/Heron
