2023 KDPPSA Spring Show

The Kingston and District Poultry and Pet Stock Association annual show returned with a very successful Memorial Show on Sunday July 9th, 2023. The show was dedicated to the memory of some key KDPPSA members lost since 2019: Jesce Cole, Ken Crawford, Wayne Heyman, Dave Walsh, and Reg Watson. We thank everyone who came out to the show to help celebrate the memory of these fine folks.

We had a good sized entry of 453 exhibits from 33 exhibitors, with 68 large fowl, 168 bantams, 63 pigeons, 131 waterfowl, 19 rabbits, 2 turkeys, and 2 guineas shown. The quality of the exhibits was very high, with notable classes including large fowl leghorns, sussex, langshans, and brahmas; bantam cochins, old english game, modern game, leghorns, and wyandottes; Neatherland and Rex rabbits; roller and homer pigeons; and East indies, calls, and Indian Runners in waterfowl. We thank William Bergen (poultry) and Robert Stephens (pigeons & rabbits) for doing a great job with the judging.
